ModBox RV was founded on a simple frustration: the RV industry keeps selling finished vehicles loaded with features most adventure-minded buyers never asked for and don’t want to pay for. We set out to build something different — a purpose-built, commercial-grade foundation vehicle that gives builders, overlanders, and DIY enthusiasts the best possible starting point.
The Unbound and Bandit are the result. It’s not an RV in the traditional sense. It’s a platform — engineered, insulated, and built tough — ready to become whatever you need it to be.
Our Philosophy
Why Pay for Features You Don’t Want?
Traditional RVs come pre-decided. Someone else chose the layout, the materials, the storage, the sleeping arrangement. ModBox RV exists for the people who want to make those decisions themselves — and have a foundation worthy of the build they envision.
What We Build
We build B+ class vehicles on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD platform — compact enough to go almost anywhere, capable enough to handle the terrain, and built to serve as the strongest overland foundation on the market. Every Unbound and Bandit leaves our facility with high quality insulated walls, upgraded suspension & tires, and overland-specific features already installed.The Unbound and Bandit are the result.
